Reddit video downloader
Paste a public Reddit post link below to save the video — with its audio track when the post has sound.
The four steps
Open the Reddit post
Find the post in the Reddit app or on reddit.com.
Copy its link
Tap Share → Copy link, or copy the post URL from your browser's address bar.
Paste it into SnapGrab
Drop the link in the box above and press Download.
Save video and audio
Pick the video file — and the audio track too when the post has sound.
Why Reddit downloads come in two files
Reddit hosts video and audio as separate streams (DASH). SnapGrab lists both tracks so you always get the highest quality video — and the matching sound — instead of a silent clip.
Tip: players like VLC can merge the two tracks, or you can play the video and audio together directly on most phones.
If nothing loads
Private subreddit: posts in private or restricted communities cannot be fetched.
Deleted or removed post: once moderators or the author remove a post, its media stops resolving.
Still stuck? Send the link through the contact page.
FAQ
How do I download a Reddit video?
Open the Reddit post, tap Share → Copy link, paste it into the box above and press Download. The available video and audio files appear in seconds.
Do Reddit videos download with sound?
Reddit serves video and audio as separate tracks. When a post has sound, SnapGrab lists the audio track next to the video so you can save both.
Does it work for v.redd.it links?
Yes — paste the full post URL or the v.redd.it short link, both resolve to the same files.
Can I download GIFs and images from Reddit?
Yes. Image posts return the full-resolution image, and gif posts return the video file Reddit serves.
Which Reddit posts can be downloaded?
Public posts only. Content from private subreddits or deleted posts cannot be fetched.
